Went through MEPS the other day; it was actually fun, I don't know why people say it sucks so much. I got a 94 on the ASVAB but still didn't qualify for the job I wanted; not sure what's up with that, but I don't care beyond the fact that I hate failing. Soon I'll sign on for whatever job is available out of the 10 I chose and I'll be going to BMT, which I'm looking forward to. I plan on spending the next 8 years in active service to the United States Air Force. Hopefully I'll get some promotions along the way.

95% filled out
I'm looking at a 6-year enlistment. Since I only have a HS diploma, I'll most likely be starting out at the bottom, E-1 Airman Basic, at $17,892 a year. As I continue in the Air Force I will no doubt progress through the ranks, earning higher pay, but even if I was fixed at $17,892 I would have a good chunk of money by the end of 6 years, or at least a lot more money than I would have otherwise. And I'll have the training and experience and whatnot.
So yeah, assuming I don't fail their tests (highly unlikely), I'll be in the United States Air Force shortly.

My 18th birthday is coming up (27th). What should I do?
EDIT: Today (my 18th birthday) I had cinnamon rolls for breakfast and watched Youtube videos, tonight I'll go to church youth group where everyone will be surprised to see me with a buzzcut after having nearly shoulder-length hair for the last few months, and I have $35 in birthday money. I wish I wasn't so boring but oh well, I HAVE A NEW ICON
